The velvet grip part is supposed go against the grain of the material away from the face and thus keep the wig secure. Wig easily slips off because the velvet is smooth going away from the face. I received a second grip cap and one side goes with the grain and the other side is against the grain. One side of the wig stays and the other side slips off.

I like this cap for it's staying power but wish it was a bit easier to get on over hair.

I love the way the caps fit. They are comfortable and help keep my head warm. I would use the bands in the summer and the caps more in the winter.

I love all of the grips and caps that Shirley sells, but having the lace on it really is something. It makes the lace front wigs look even more realistic.

When I first started chemo I was completely bald but now that I have some stubble it's nice to have the security of this wonderful cap, helping to keep my wig in place. Comfort AND security!
